Glass remains a very popular choice for our customers. Back in 2016 we ran a series of articles about the process of producing our toughened balustrade glass to meet our high standards. We select experienced, proven glass suppliers carefully to ensure we can install excellent quality glass into our staircases. Our suppliers receive our glass drawings as a CAD file from our design team and then precision cut each panel before sending them for toughening.
The articles cover the glass cutting, toughening and bevelling processes as detailing of the standards we work to inline with the Glass & Glass Federations criteria.

We have 20 years experience installing new staircases and it’s important to make sure that whoever you choose to install your staircase knows exactly what they’re doing. As a trusted family business, all our staircases comply with current UK building regulations. From making sure that the steepness of the stairs (as dictated by the rise and going), complies with Section K1 of the building regulations to constructing balustrades using quality materials, we’re always one step ahead when it comes to ensuring your safety. We also know how to ensure that limitations imposed by the regulations do not need to compromise the design and aesthetics of your staircase.

Using quality materials and paying attention to the finest details is very important to us. Whether it’s timber or glass, it’s got be just right. This is why our glass manufacturers use precision bevelling on the edges of our balustrade glass panels. Beveling allows us to transform a piece of balustrade glass into a contemporary design component which will provide the pièce de résistance to your glass staircase installation.
